I. How We Collect and Use Your Personal Information

We adhere to the principles of legitimacy, lawfulness, and necessity. For the purposes described in this Privacy Policy, we collect and use personal information that you proactively provide during your use of our products and/or services, that we directly collect as a result of your use of our products and/or services, and that is provided to us by third-party partners (such as third-party network platforms and analytics service providers). If we intend to use your personal information for other purposes not specified in this Privacy Policy, or use information collected for a specific purpose for other purposes, we will inform you in a reasonable manner and obtain your consent again. To provide you with extended business functions of our products and/or services, you may choose to authorize us to collect and use your information. If you refuse to provide it, you will be unable to use the relevant extended business functions or achieve the intended effects, but it will not affect your normal use of the basic business functions of our products and/or services.

(A) Basic Business Functions

The basic business functions of this Platform are the binding, control, and management of smart devices. The purpose of collecting the following personal information is to realize the basic functions and services of the Platform and to ensure our compliance with applicable laws, regulations, and other normative documents. You have the right to choose whether to provide this information, but in most cases, if you do not provide it, we may be unable to provide you with the corresponding services. Scenarios for collecting and using your personal information include:

1.Becoming a Platform User

1.To ensure the security of your device, you must become a Platform user to bind devices. This Platform provides services to users worldwide, and we may need to determine your region to comply with applicable legal and regulatory requirements and to provide you with more convenient services. Therefore, when you register as a Platform user, we will collect your registration region, mobile phone number, SMS verification code, email address, and password to create a Platform account. If you are in mainland China, your mobile phone number and SMS verification code are necessary information due to real-name networking requirements. If you refuse to provide them, you will be unable to create an account and use the Platform's services in mainland China. After you register, we will create an account ID for you. Based on our cooperation with telecommunications operators, when you use the "one-click login" feature, with your consent, we will use the operator's function to use the mobile number in your device as your registration and login account, providing you with a fast registration and login service without requiring a password or dynamic verification code. If you do not wish to use the "one-click login" feature, you can register and log in through other methods.

2.Completing Your Personal Profile

2.To display your profile, you can complete your personal information on the Platform, including your avatar and nickname, as displayed on the page. You can decide whether to fill in this information. Not filling it in will not affect your normal use of our products and/or services.

3.Device Binding and Networking

3.To support your use of purchased smart devices, you need to complete device binding and networking on the Platform. You can start this process by scanning the QR code on the smart device, for which we will request camera permission. During the binding and networking process, we will collect your account ID, device name, device model, device MAC address, device SN, your network information (the current Wi-Fi mode of the device, device IP address, Wi-Fi MAC address), and the Wi-Fi name (SSID) and Wi-Fi password that you proactively provide. Your Wi-Fi password will only be stored encrypted on your mobile phone and the smart device. The other information mentioned above will be stored encrypted on secure servers and used only within the scope of your authorized consent.

4.Viewing Device Information

4.After you complete the binding of a smart device on the Platform, we will collect your device information for you to view, including smart device product information, device ID, custom device name, installation location (e.g., living room), device time zone, device network information (LAN IP address, device MAC address, connected SSID), indicator light status, and SD card status, as displayed on the smart device interface.

5.Device Settings

To support you in configuring your smart device through the Platform and to meet your user experience needs, we will collect device setting information, including indicator light settings, DVR settings, white light settings, picture and sound settings, recording settings, smart guard settings, and PTZ movement settings. This information will be synchronized to the smart device locally and to our servers.

6.Real-time Viewing

6.You can view the real-time feed from your smart device at any time through the Platform. For this, we may collect the sound switch status and the real-time video information captured by the smart device's camera, including the current frame and timestamp. If you have not enabled the cloud recording function, we will not store real-time video information on our servers. However, you can click the "photo" or "video" button to take a screenshot or record the current real-time feed. We will request permission to access your phone's album or file storage to locally store the real-time screenshots/recordings/audio on your phone.

7.Message Push Management

7.To better send you notifications, we will provide you with message pushes, including smart device alarm event information and Platform service reminder information (e.g., renewal reminders, activity reminders, privacy policy updates, new version releases). You can enable notification permissions on your device so that we can send push notifications to your device, allowing you to receive relevant messages promptly even after you exit the Platform.

8.Order Management

8.When you purchase products or services on the Platform, we will collect your order information and payment information to provide you with the products and specific services. You can query and manage your orders in [Account] - [My Orders].

9.Voucher Redemption

9.You can redeem products or services using vouchers. We will collect the redemption code and coupons information you provide to bind the voucher. You can bind and view your vouchers in [Account] - [My Coupons].

10.Advertising Delivery

(1)First-Party Advertising:○We may hold marketing activities from time to time and may provide you with marketing notifications and commercial electronic information through the Platform or via your in-app messages, email, SMS, or phone. If you do not wish to receive such information, you can follow the prompts to close the advertisement page or choose to unsubscribe as instructed by us. Closing or unsubscribing will not affect your use of the Platform's services.

(2)Third-Party Advertising:Our Platform integrates third-party advertising partners, such as ad exchanges and other third-party ad service providers. For the purposes of programmatic ad delivery, anti-fraud, and ad monitoring and attribution, these third parties will directly collect and use your device information via SDKs. This includes: device brand, device model, software system version, screen density, screen resolution, device language, device time zone, SIM card information (MCC & MNC), CPU information, available storage space, AndroidID, OAID, reboot time, total disk space, total system memory, IDFV, ODID, device MAC address, IMEI, IMSI, ICCID, GAID (GMS services only), MEID, hardware serial number (build_serial), IDFA. Network information, carrier information, Wi-Fi status, network signal strength, IP address, application information (app package name, running processes information, version number, app foreground/background status, software list), sensor information (linear acceleration sensor, magnetic field sensor, rotation vector sensor, accelerometer sensor, gyroscope sensor, precise location information, coarse location information (Wi-Fi list, WLAN access points like SSID, BSSID), base stations), and performance data (e.g., crash data, performance data). You can learn more about the advertising partners we integrate and the types of information they collect in the below "the Third Party Information Sharing List"

It should be noted that all advertisements on this Platform do not involve personalized recommendation functions; third-party ads are general advertising information that does not differentiate between users. Without your authorization, we will not share your personally identifiable information (i.e., information that can identify you, such as your mobile phone number) with advertising partners.

(B) Extended Business Functions

Extended business functions are intended to further enhance your user experience or provide you with more intelligent and personalized services. You can choose whether to enable these functions. If you proactively use an extended business function, you authorize us to collect and use the corresponding personal information. If you refuse to authorize an extended business function, it will not affect your use of the basic business functions.

1.Real-time Intercom

1.You can click the intercom button to have a two-way conversation with your smart device. At this time, we will request microphone permission and collect voice information from your mobile device to enable this function.

2.Device Recording and Playback

2.If you have inserted an SD card, we will store your smart device recordings on the SD card. If you have subscribed to the cloud recording service, we will store your smart device's event recordings encrypted on our cloud servers. You can view recordings stored on the SD card or in the cloud from your mobile device. We will collect the video files of recorded events, the recording time, and the description of the event that triggered the recording. The storage period on the cloud server is subject to the cloud service you purchased, and you can download the files yourself within the validity period. If you no longer wish to use this feature, you can disable the cloud storage function in - -.

3.Device Sharing

To provide you with the function of sharing your device with other users for joint control and use, we may collect the sharing account information of the other user you provide, as well as the device's sharing permission settings.

4.Event Recognition

4.You can choose to enable the Event Recognition function. We will perform recognition on video content and, when a specified event occurs, record and store the event and the corresponding video (storage location depends on whether cloud recording is enabled). When you enable this function, we will collect recording time, record event type settings, auto-tracking settings, guard area settings, message push scope settings, and cloud recording status settings to provide you with smart home security services. At the same time, you can select specific scenarios to manage in the "AI Box" (e.g., watching a baby, pet, home, store, warehouse, depending on what the smart device supports). We will use targeted AI capabilities based on your selection to improve the efficiency and accuracy of the service.

5.Intelligent Recognition

You can choose to enable the Intelligent Recognition function. This function uses LLM AI capabilities to analyze video data, marking message types such as people, vehicles, pets, flames, smoke, and deliveries, and describes events in a scenario-based manner. When you enable it, we will collect alarm screen videos generated by your smart device to understand and generate alarm event messages via AI and push them to you.

5.Furthermore, on the premise that the data has been processed with security encryption technology or de-identified, making it impossible to precisely identify a specific individual, we may analyze the corresponding alarm event videos and event recognition results from the Smart Recognition service and use them for model training for the Intelligent Recognition service or other AI services to continuously adjust and optimize AI performance and product experience. If you do not want the aforementioned information to be used for model training and optimization, you can withdraw your authorization by turning off the "Product Improvement Plan" switch on [Account]- [Setting] Button.

6.Phone Reminders

To provide you with more timely notifications, you can choose to enable the phone reminder function. We will collect your phone number, the time for phone reminders, and the scope of events, among other settings, to notify you via a voice call when an event is triggered.

7.Data Privilege

7.You can purchase data for smart devices that support 4G data services. We need to collect the ICCID of the data card in the smart device, order information, and payment records to provide you with services such as data service activation.

8.Issuing Invoices

8.For products or services you purchase through this Platform that are provided by us, you can request an invoice on the Platform. We will collect your invoicing information (for personal invoices, we collect the name; for corporate invoices, we collect the taxpayer name, identification number, etc.) and contact information (phone, email) to issue and send the invoice to you.

9.Activity Participation

This Platform offers activities such as daily lucky draws, check-ins, and completing specified tasks. By participating in activities, you can collect points (gold beans) to redeem for prizes. In this process, we will collect your activity registration and participation records, platform operations, click records, records of following our official account, records of acquiring points (gold beans), and prize redemption records. If you redeem a physical gift, we need to collect your shipping information such as address, phone number, and name, and provide it to logistics merchants to ship the item to you.

10.Help and Feedback

10.If you have any questions about the Platform or your smart device, you can contact our customer service or the merchant/manufacturer who sold you the smart device through the problem feedback function or the online customer service function. Our system may record the questions and suggestions you enter, images used to illustrate the problem, problem classification, communication records with customer service, and use your account information to verify your identity. When you need us to provide customer service related to your device, we may query necessary information such as the device information bound to your account, device setting status, and logs to provide you with appropriate assistance and processing. Please be assured that your video data is stored encrypted, and customer service cannot view the content recorded by the smart device.

11.After-Sales Service

To provide you with after-sales service, we need to collect the information you proactively provide when applying for service (such as contact name, phone number, shipping address, repair request time, device purchase information, and a description of the device's problem), as well as query your device's settings, status, and other relevant information to contact you, understand your needs and the device's status, and return the smart device to you after the service is completed.

11.Please be aware that besides repair personnel, parties such as logistics providers may come into contact with your device during its return shipment. To protect your privacy, please be sure to remove the SD card when sending the smart device and do not send it with the device. We are not responsible for any data loss or leakage from the device resulting from your failure to remove the SD card.

12.Service Surveys

We may, from time to time, collect suggestions from users about our products and services in the form of questionnaires or forms. You can choose whether to fill them out. We will collect your mobile number and other information you provide to meet the needs of our research.

(C) Other Rules for Using Personal Information

1.We will conduct comprehensive statistics and analysis of your information to provide you with more accurate, personalized, smooth, and convenient services, or to help us evaluate, improve, or design products, services, and operational activities.

2.To assist us in optimizing service experience and making product upgrade decisions, we will use the collected data, after it has been processed with encryption technology and cannot be re-identified to a specific individual, for machine learning, algorithm model training, or other data analysis and mining processing.

3.To improve our products and services, we will invite you to participate in customer surveys and activities related to our products or services via in-app messages, email, SMS, or phone.

4.After collecting your personal information, we will anonymize your information data through technical means. Such anonymized information, which cannot identify the data subject, may be used directly by us without your consent, and we have the right to analyze and commercially utilize the user database.

5.We will compile statistics on the usage of our products and/or services and may share these statistics with the public or third parties to demonstrate the overall usage trends of our products and/or services. However, these statistics will not contain any of your personally identifiable information.

6.If we intend to use your personal information for purposes not specified in this Privacy Policy, or use information collected for a specific purpose for other purposes, we will seek your explicit consent in advance.

7.For functions and scenarios not explicitly stated in this Privacy Policy, we will present you with the corresponding personal information collection and use rules and obtain your explicit consent when you actually use that function or scenario.

Exceptions to Obtaining Consent

Please be aware that in the following situations, we may collect and use personal information without obtaining your authorized consent:

1.Where it is necessary for the conclusion or performance of a contract to which the individual is a party, or necessary for carrying out human resources management in accordance with legally established labor rules and regulations and collective contracts signed according to law;

2.Where it is necessary for the performance of a statutory duty or statutory obligation;

3.Where it is necessary to respond to a public health emergency, or in an emergency to protect the life, health, and property safety of a natural person;

4.Where personal information is processed within a reasonable scope for acts such as news reporting and public opinion supervision for the public interest;

Please note that information that cannot identify you or establish a direct connection with you, either alone or in combination with other information, does not constitute personal information. If we combine information that cannot be linked to any specific individual with other information to identify a natural person, or use it in combination with personal information, such information will be treated as personal information during the period of combined use.

To ensure the normal implementation of relevant business functions, we need to invoke the corresponding necessary permissions based on the specific usage scenario and will ask you via a pop-up before doing so. You can choose to close some or all permissions in the client or device settings, but this may result in the corresponding business functions being unable to be realized or failing to achieve the expected effect. The methods for enabling and disabling the above permissions may vary in different devices; please refer to the instructions or guidance of the device and system developer. II. How We Use Cookies and Other Similar Technologies

To ensure the normal and efficient operation of the website, to provide you with a more relaxed access experience, and to recommend content that you may be interested in, we will store small data files called Cookies on your device terminal/system. Cookies will help you call up your information during subsequent visits to this Platform, simplifying the process of filling in personal information (such as one-click login); providing you with preference settings for secure shopping; protecting your data security, etc. We will not use Cookies for any purpose other than those described in this Privacy Policy. (A) Sharing

Most of the products or services we provide cannot be completed alone. 3.Realizing Advertising-Related Information Sharing. To achieve programmatic advertising delivery, we may share your device information with advertising partners (including advertisers and other advertising service providers) to help them improve the effective reach of advertisements without identifying you personally. Without your authorization, we will not share your personally identifiable information (i.e., information that can identify you, such as your mobile phone number) with advertising partners.

4.To ensure the implementation of Yoosee's related functions and the stable operation of the application, we will integrate software development kits (SDKs) provided by third-party partners to achieve relevant purposes. Please be aware that we will only share your personal information for lawful, legitimate, necessary, specific, and explicit purposes. For companies, organizations, and individuals with whom we share personal information solely for the purposes stated in this policy, we will sign strict information protection and confidentiality agreements with them, requiring them to comply with the agreements and take relevant security measures to protect your personal information.

(B) Transfer

As our business develops, we and our affiliates may undergo mergers, acquisitions, reorganizations, asset transfers, or similar transactions. If personal information is involved in such a transfer, we will require the company or organization receiving your personal information to continue to be bound by this Privacy Policy; otherwise, we will require that company or organization to re-seek your authorized consent.

Except for the situations described above, we will not transfer your personal information without your explicit consent.

(C) Public Disclosure

We will only publicly disclose your personal information in the following circumstances, and only after taking security measures that comply with industry standards:

In the following situations, sharing, transferring, or publicly disclosing your personal information does not require your prior authorized consent:

2.Necessary for public safety, public health, and major public interests;

3.Necessary for criminal investigation, prosecution, trial, and judgment execution;

8.Other situations where authorization is not required by law.

According to the law, if personal information that has undergone de-identification processing is shared, transferred, or publicly disclosed, and the data recipient cannot restore and re-identify the personal information subject, we are not required to separately notify you and obtain your consent for the processing of such data.

IV. How We Store and Protect Your Personal Information

(A) Storage of Personal Information

To ensure your personal experience and to comply with applicable laws and regulations, we have implemented partitioned storage for personal information. Personal information collected and generated by us within the mainland of the People's Republic of China will be stored within mainland China. We will not transfer your personal information across borders.

If you are located outside of mainland China, your personal information may be stored on servers outside your country of residence, for example, in the United States or Brazil. If you wish to know the storage location of your personal information, you may contact our Personal Information Protection Department. We will only retain your personal information for the period necessary to achieve the purposes described in this policy, unless there is a mandatory retention requirement by law or regulation, for example, the "Cybersecurity Law of the People's Republic of China" requires the retention of your network logs for at least 6 months, and the "E-commerce Law" requires the retention of product and service information and transaction information for at least 3 years. We primarily refer to the following standards to determine the storage period for personal information, and choose the longer period: ensuring the security and quality of the services we provide to you; whether you agree to a longer retention period; whether there are other special agreements or legal and regulatory provisions regarding the retention period.

After the retention period expires, we will delete your personal information or anonymize it in accordance with applicable legal requirements. When you actively cancel your account, we will process the data in accordance with legal and regulatory requirements.

If we cease operations, we will notify you at least 30 days in advance and process your personal information in accordance with legal and regulatory requirements after the cessation of operations.

(B) Protective Measures for Personal Information

Data Security Measures: To ensure the security of your information, we strive to take various physical, electronic, and administrative security measures that comply with industry standards to protect your personal information. We have established data classification and grading systems, data security management specifications, and data security development specifications to manage and regulate the storage and use of personal information. We implement comprehensive security controls on data through information contact confidentiality agreements, monitoring, and audit mechanisms to prevent your personal information from being accessed, publicly disclosed, used, modified, damaged, or lost without authorization. For example, we use SSL encryption protection technology for data exchange (such as credit card information) between your browser and the "Service"; use encryption technology to ensure data confidentiality; use trusted protection mechanisms to prevent data from malicious attacks; deploy access control mechanisms to ensure that only authorized personnel can access personal information; and hold security and privacy protection training courses to strengthen employees' awareness of the importance of protecting personal information.

Please be aware and understand that the internet is not an absolutely secure environment. We strongly recommend that you use secure methods and complex passwords to help us ensure the security of your account.
